Snag the Tag is an outdoor activity which runs in parallel with geocaching. The game is split into hiders and finders. Hiders hide a tag and register it on the Snag the Tag website, these are then reviewed and published. The first finders register the find on the website and redeem the tag for a trackable geocoin prize. The first game was held at Geocoinfest USA in 2018.
