Saint George Geocoin

This geocoin represents St. Georges Day, the patron saint of England. The design is based on a golden ducat coin minted in Kremnica (Slovakia) in the late seventeenth century.

Side A shows Saint George on horseback with a spear slaying a dragon, around the perimeter is the text “S Georgius Eqvitum Patronus” which means “Sanctus Georgius Equitum Patronus” in English. Side B shows a galley on a rough sea surrounded by the text “in tempestate securitas” which means “security in the weather” in English, around the perimeter. The trackable code is on the side of the geocoin. The trackable icon is a spear head with the initials “SG”.
